A temporary road closure has been put in place to allow Electricity North West to carry out utility works which are expected to commence 20th May 2024 and anticipated to take 15 days to complete.

Location: U1189, near Cumwhitton, from its junction with the C1026, extending in a south westerly direction for approx. 350m. And C1026, near Cumwhitton, for a distance of approx. 70m either side of the centre line of the junction with the U1189.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C1026, C1027 and C1039 Hornsby Gate.
